At Skylight Dance Club, we see dance as a conversation without words. Our motto, “Coordination is the key!”, guides everything we do: we help you coordinate your body, the music, your partner and the shared space so that dancing feels clear, connected and enjoyable.
Whether you come as a child, a teen, an adult or a senior, we build skills step by step in a safe, structured and multilingual environment. Classes are taught mainly in English, while our teachers can support you personally in French, Dutch and German when needed.
We focus on posture, timing, clear lead-and-follow, and awareness of other couples on the floor. This focus on nonverbal communication makes dancing more than just steps: it becomes a way to listen, respond and move together with confidence.
The easiest way to begin is to choose your age group and look at the available classes. We offer Rising Stars 8–12, Junior Club 13–18, adult evening classes and a seniors / afternoon club, as well as technique, private lessons and events.
In many groups you can start with a trial class, depending on the time of the season and available space. After that, registration is handled directly by the club; you will receive clear information about passes and payments.
Skylight Dance Club is active on several days of the week, including some weekends for events. To see what is happening when, please visit the Schedule & Locations page. For an overview of special balls and social evenings, check the Events page.

Skylight Dance Club grew from a small group of dancers who wanted a place where good technique, respect and enjoyment could live together. Over time, that small group became a club with structured age-group classes, open practice sessions, technique evenings and balls that bring the whole community together.
From the beginning, we have focused on an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere. Children, teens, adults and seniors share the same values: kindness on and off the floor, clear communication and the courage to keep learning. We welcome dancers who simply want to enjoy social dancing as well as those who are curious about performance or competition.
Safety is central in everything we organise. All venues we use have controlled access and clear supervision, especially for our younger members. We aim to create a space where everyone can feel seen, supported and challenged at their own pace.
Most Skylight Dance Club activities take place in Brussels and the nearby area.
